Minecraft is the setting, but the learning is serious. Students program an in-game agent to carry out tasks, use loops to construct enormous structures in seconds, write logic that makes the agent respond to its surroundings, and build machines that run without them. It finishes with each student designing a complete custom world with a playable goal — which the whole class then visits and plays.
